Conseil des Membres d'Honneur (Honorary Council)

A distinct, non-fee-based college of eminent public and private figures who have rendered notable service to BAC. Members are designated by the General Assembly and take part in its work in an advisory capacity. The Council does not hold the Board's statutory powers (budget, legal authority, bylaw amendment) but plays a substantive role validating BAC's strategic direction.

Advisory Board

A separate, expertise-based body of outside specialists — in regulation, compliance, innovation and investment — invited to provide management advice on the direction BAC should take. Advisory Board seats are by invitation, not application.

How to join

BAC does not yet publish a single formal step-by-step enrollment procedure; the flow below reflects current practice and will be refined as the process is formalized.

    Complete the online application with your details, areas of expertise, and what you hope to gain from BAC membership.

    Confirmation & payment

    BAC's secretariat reviews your application and shares payment instructions for your membership fee.

    Welcome

    You receive an official welcome letter, your membership certificate, and access to the community.

Application review and payment collection are currently handled directly by BAC's secretariat. Online payment will be enabled once a payment provider is configured.

Membership FAQ

Can I upgrade my membership tier later?

Yes. Contact the BAC secretariat to move to a higher tier; the fee difference is prorated to your renewal date on request.

Do membership fees cover event tickets?

Membership gives you preferential rates on paid events, but most flagship conferences and training programs are ticketed separately.

Is there a student or reduced rate?

The Individual Supporter tier (5,000 FCFA/year) is designed for students, youth and members on a limited budget.

How is the Honorary Council different from a paid membership?

It is a separate, invitation-only advisory college for eminent figures who have served BAC — it is not a fee-based membership tier.
