Interoperable systems engineering

Connecting chains you built yourself, and measuring what each model costs.

The only track that requires hands-on experience of several ecosystems. It does not compare documentation: it runs a hundred messages through each of the three models and confronts the records.

It produces two deliverables the whole Academy reuses: BAC's cross-chain selection doctrine and the taxonomy of trust models.

The track where interoperability stops being a sales argument and becomes a measurement.

Modules

01

Cross-chain messaging foundations

A single reading grid, light clients, relayers.

02

The three comparative labs

IBC, XCM and Avalanche messaging, measured under identical conditions.

03

Bridges and alternative substrates

EVM ecosystems, data availability as substrate, the trust taxonomy.

04

Designing multichain systems

Assets, architecture, failures, heterogeneity, then delivery.

Capstone

Connected interoperable infrastructure

Deliver an operated link between two distinct ecosystems, with every trust assumption documented and tested.

  • 01Live cross-ecosystem transfer
  • 02Recovery runbook executed by another team
  • 03Cross-team security review of every junction
